Not all natural fibers are the same. Yak, cashmere, and sheep wool each have their own qualities but yak brings together a rare combination of softness, strength, warmth, and sustainability.

  • Yak is: Rare, soft, strong, low yield and biodegradable
Yak fibre is naturally fine and incredibly soft, while also being super strong and more durable than many other luxury fibers. Because yaks produce only a small amount of usable fibers each year, it is naturally rare.
  • Cashmere is: soft, lightweight, low yield and biodegradable
Cashmere is famous for its exceptional softness and lightweight feel. Like yak, it is a precious natural fiber produced in relatively small quantities.
  • Sheep wool is: warm, durable, abundant, higher yield
Sheep wool is one of the world's most widely used natural fibers. It is warm, durable, and versatile, but generally coarser than fine yak and cashmere fibers.
The Yak difference

Yak gives us something unusual: luxury without losing the strength of the natural fiber.
It is rare because yaks produce relatively littly usable fiber, sofr enough for everyday wear, and naturally biodegradable at the end of its life.
Rare by nature. Soft by touch. Strong by design.
